About the Artist
I graduated with distinction from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2015. I received the Rondi Lee Johnson Memorial Ceramics Community Scholarship in 2014 and was awarded the Board of Governers Award for Ceramics at Convocation in 2015. I pride myself in making work which is both beautiful and functional. I have a passion for working on the wheel and for making glazes which interplay with each other to form spontaneous and stunning surfaces. I named my studio, "Muddy Otter's Pottery," because I love sea otters and embrace the idea of "going with the flow" and playfulness they embody.
